What to Expect:

The average inspection takes between 2-3 hours depending on the property size and condition. Clients are encouraged to attend the Inspection if possible. Should time constraints prohibit your presence for the entire inspection, efforts should at least be made to attend the last 45 minutes to review findings with the inspector. Inspection fee is due either prior to or at time of inspection. The completed inspection report can be delivered to you in one of several formats: e-mail, fax or hard copy.

The Inspection will be conducted in accordance with the standards of practice of the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. You can expect the inspector to report the results of the inspection in a strictly fair, impartial, and professional manner, avoiding conflicts of interest.

What Not to Expect:

  • The inspector will not provide any engineering or architectural services or analysis.
  • The inspector will not perform any procedure or operation that will, in the opinion of the inspector, likely be dangerous to the inspector or other persons or damage the property.
  • The inspector will not determine the market value of the property or comment on the advisability of purchase of the property.
